Maddie’s Musts February’24

A few life updates!

  • I am technically just stepping out of the “4th trimester”… and somewhat-surprisingly feeling SO GOOD! This also means that Charley is 3 months old now and I can’t handle it… all the happy sad tears bc it’s been such a fun & crazy last few months!

  • Maternity leave technically ended for me just a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been scheduling info calls with new clients and getting them all signed up for 1:1 coaching!
If you have been waiting for 1:1 coaching slots to open back up and haven’t booked a free call with me yet, you can book one HERE!
These info calls are designed to help you choose which 1:1 package is right for you based upon your current health and future goals. Together we can decide which route is best for you!

  • One of my sisters just moved to San Diego (I have 3 sisters and they’ve all lived in WA until now, so I am super excited to have family close again and my sisters are my BFF’s so it’s extra exciting! <3)

So in addition to those little updates, I’d love to share with you a few of my favorites right now that I think you’ll be quite fond of, too!

Things that I am oBsEsSeD w/ right now:

FOOD

  • This isn’t really a “food”... but one of my roomies and BFF’s from college, Ashley, who runs RoseyTimesTwo with her sister Amanda (on IG) recently launched a new electrolyte company and it’s AMAZING! Truly obsessed. It’s called ADay and I have been having 2 packets of the watermelon flavor every single day. The taste is truly my favorite of all the electrolyte brands yet, and the quality is 100. Also, the branding is SO cute. I love everything about it and would 100000% order & use it even if I never knew Ashley or Amanda lol. You can use this link or code MADDHEALTHY and get a discount!

  • Not a new obsession, but PB IQBars are saving me on the go right now. Since getting back into the work groove this month I’ve been finding myself needing more travel-friendly snacks/meals and IQBars will always be one of my faves! (use code MADDIE for 15% off your order!)

  • Another travel-friendly fave are of course my Paleo Valley Meat Sticks (gluten, dairy, & soy free!) I especially love the grass-fed beef sticks for 6 grams of protein on the go (sometimes I’ll have two to get 12 grams of protein in quickly!). (use the link to get 15% off!)

APP

I’ve FINALLY updated my Amazon Storefront and I’m so excited that everything is all up to date and organized for you guys now since I get so many questions about different things I order/use/take, etc. ☺️

I feel like it can be super overwhelming for new moms to know what baby stuff is actually necessary + which brands are best.

I’ve also added some cute mugs (you’ve probably been seeing my matcha & bone broth hot chocolate in them ☕), books, and some new supplements I’m obsessed with (like the trending liquid chlorophyll!)

PRODUCT

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again - the Oura Ring is lifeeeee. Not only did it predict my labor, but it just predicted my friend’s labor, too! 🤯

It can detect major hormone shifts (like your menstrual cycle, ovulation, etc.), help you cycle track, measure sleep quality, tell you when to REST + more.

RECIPE

  • It’s easy, it’s delicious, and the time commitment is minimal. 👌🏻 Chia pudding almost seems like a dessert, but it’s a great breakfast option for blood sugar balance, fiber, and healthy fats! Put it in a glass mason jar at the beginning of the week and VOILA you have the EASIEST blood sugar balancing snack or breakfast or dessert, etc.

  • You know me and I love some healthy treats, too. 🫶🏻 One of my fave after lunch treats lately have been these super easy Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins. Gluten free, dairy free, and totally refined sugar free!

CLOTHES

  • Living in Cozy Earth jammies as often as I can. 😉 They just came out with the cutest designs. I’m obsessed with this pink floral look! My code MADDHEALTHY40 will get you 40% off! I know they’re a little pricey but they are 100% worth every penny and with the discount code… the pricing is much betta.

  • I’m also recently obsessed with Vuori leggings, specifically the AllTheFeels legging. I would definitely compare them to a Lululemon quality - buttery soft!

PODCASTS

Being postpartum now I’ve been feeling so passionate about helping women with their pregnancy journeys. I would highly recommend giving this episode of the Be Well by Kelly podcast a listen if you’re TTC, or even if you’re not TTC, but in your reproductive years considering having kids in the future. Amazing info to help you start your fertility and pregnancy journey - Prepare Your Body for Pregnancy: Preconception Nutrition & Fertility Awareness with Lily Nichols & Lisa Hendrickson-Jack

Am I missing a category that you would love to see? Respond to this email with your requests and I’ll make sure that I add them into the next Maddie’s Musts!
