My go to Matcha Recipe
maddhealthy Matcha Latte (salted caramel + protein)
This is my go-to morning drink for a creamy, nourishing, and energizing start to the day! It’s packed with antioxidants from organic ceremonial-grade matcha, collagen for skin and joint support, and a blend of the cleanest non-dairy milks for a perfect frothy texture. The touch of monk fruit and sea salt gives it a subtle “salted caramel” vibe, and it comes together in just 2 minutes!
This recipe targets:
Added-Sugar-Free | Dairy-free | Paleo Friendly
Most matcha lattes are loaded with sugar or processed creamers, but this one is all about clean, simple ingredients that support your energy and wellness without the crash
Ingredient list
1 serving organic ceremonial grade matcha (I love Pique, but any high-quality brand works)
About 1/3 cup total non-dairy milk, mixed:
Malk organic unsweetened coconut milk
Malk organic unsweetened almond milk
A splash of unsweetened vanilla Nutpods (optional, for extra creaminess, but not as clean as Malk)
A few tiny drops of NOW Foods monk fruit extract
A tiny pinch of sea salt (for a “salted caramel” flavor)
1 serving Ancient Nutrition Multi Collagen
1 serving Ovasitol (I get mine on Fullscript) (optional: I love it for PCOS/blood sugar + more!)
Hot water (heated to 170°F)
Optional Boosts
Swap or add your favorite non-dairy milks
Omit Nutpods if you prefer a lighter texture & simpler ingredients
Dietary benefits

Dairy-free
Paleo friendly
Steps
Heat your water to 170°F.
In your frother, combine about 1/3 cup total of coconut milk and almond milk, plus a splash of Nutpods. Froth until creamy and foamy. (I use the Nespresso frother)
In your mug, add the matcha, collagen, Ovasitol, monk fruit extract, and sea salt.
Pour hot water into the mug until it’s about halfway full.
Froth or whisk the matcha, collagen, and Ovasitol mixture until smooth and dissolved.
Pour the frothed milk blend on top.
It sounds like a whole project, but everything is in the same cabinet, so it honestly takes me 2 minutes max!
Adjust the taste:
Too sweet? Use less monk fruit.
Want more creaminess? Add a bit more Nutpods or coconut milk.
Prefer it hot or iced? Pour over ice for a refreshing twist.
Pour into your favorite mug, sip, and enjoy your nourishing, frothy matcha moment!
