RAW CARROT SALAD

According to Dr. Ray Peat, “A carrot salad eaten daily can assist the liver and GI tract in the detoxification process and elimination of endotoxin and excess estrogen, thus improving the function of your metabolism.” This is why it is a perfect snack to assist in hormone balance!

This carrot salad has the ability to improve the ratio of progesterone to estrogen and cortisol in your body — some of our most significant hormones! It’s a great resource to try with helping PMS, insomnia, arthritis, etc!!

Ingredient list

  • 1-2 Carrots (I buy organic rainbow carrots from Trader Joe’s!)

  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar (can be a different one, just make sure it doesn’t have additives!)

  • 2 teaspoon saturated fat (olive oil, MCT oil)

  • Salt

  • Optional: Garlic

Grate your carrots into desired length/size of pieces. This can be totally up to you! Add your vinegar and saturated fat on top. Then sprinkle with salt & ENJOY! :)
