EASY WILD SALMON

This is such a quick and healthy recipe, it only takes about 8 minutes from start to finish! I like to use the air fryer, but before I became obsessed with that, I used my oven and it worked well too!

This recipe targets:

Paleo | Hormone Friendly | Blood-Sugar Balancing | Dairy-Free | Gluten-Free

Frozen salmon is such a great staple to always have on hand. It’s high in protein and healthy fats, and is SO easy and quick to add into a balanced meal that’s good for you!

Ingredient list

  • Frozen wild salmon fillets (I get mine from Trader Joe’s — they are affordable and good quality!

  • Avocado Oil

  • Sea Salt and Pepper

  • Desired spices

Dietary benefits

  • Paleo

  • Gluten-free

  • Dairy-free

Steps

Step 1

Drizzle 2 wild salmon filets with avocado oil. These wild salmon filets should be about 1 inch thick! Once they are evenly coated in the oil, sprinkle them with sea salt, pepper, and any other spices of your choice (like paprika!). You can also add a squeeze of lemon to make it real yummy, too! Rub the salmon until the oil and spices are evenly distributed.

Step 2

Put the salmon filets in the air fryer at 390 degrees for about 7 minutes. If your salmon filets are smaller than normal, try a minute or two less. If they are larger, add on a minute or two! This should make them cooked to perfection. If they aren’t cooked to your liking, add time in 1 minute increments.
