Tuna Salad Wrap

TUNA SALAD WRAP

The only ingredients in these wraps are coconut, turmeric and water — super simple and very sturdy! Add a protein and some healthy fats on top and you have a fabulous blood-sugar balancing meal!

This recipe targets:

Paleo | Keto | Pescatarian | Glucose Friendly

Having blood-sugar balancing meals make the WORLD of a difference for me. Keeps me satiated, energized, and clear headed for my day! This is the perfect example of a glucose friendly meal. And so delicious, too!

Ingredient list

For the TUNA

  • 1 5oz can of Safe Catch Foods sustainably wild caught tuna (tested for mercury!) or salmon

  • 1-2 tablespoon primal kitchen foods chipotle lime mayo

  • 1 tablespoon primal kitchen foods mustard

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the TOPPINGS

  • 1/2-1 avocado, chopped

  • 1-2 tomatoes, chopped

  • Optional: 2 tablespoons of finely chopped celery

  • Optional: 1-2 finely chopped green onions

For the wrap

  • Coco by Nuco turmeric coconut wraps (my favorite)

  • Bed of organic mixed greens and/or microgreens

Steps

Step 1

This recipe takes minimal steps to create! First, mix all the ingredients of the tuna in a small bowl until well combined.

Step 2

After tuna is well mixed, add in your chopped celery/green onion/other veggies if desired!

Add onto the wrap, and sprinkle with slices tomatoes, avocado and salt/pepper.

Step 3

Wrap it up and ENJOY! :)
